It's hard to believe that the first week of 2011 is already over. With each passing year, time seems to speed up and the months fly by. I barely have had a chance to think about all that happened in 2010 let alone come up with resolutions for 2011 - which is probably all for the best since I never keep them.
So since I was a slacker and didn't even stay up to say goodbye to the old year and hello to the new year, I figure the least I can do is summarize last year with a few pictures and a few highlights.
So here we go!
January brought the chance to catch up on some much needed sleep after finally taking the first break from school in sixteen and a half years.
February brought fun times at the kids table during the family gathering.
March brought some "rockin' awesome" sister time.
April brought the most fun trip for ice cream ever.
May brought the most awesome teva tan line in the history of tan lines.
June brought a new car...
...and a trip to the sand dunes.
July brought a lot of the family together...
...and a sad two-year goodbye to my little brother.
August brought a 2nd birthday...
...lots of crazy adventures of the unemployed...
...and a new little buddy.
September brought campaign exhaustion.
October brought a new bike of my very own! - I haven't had one since I was about 10.
November FINALLY brought time for my sisters!
December brought a homemade ugly sweater...
...that ended up winning me club level tickets to the best Bronco's game of the season!
All in all, 2010 was a year of learning and attempting to figure out life. Mixed in were fun times, heart aches and breaks, disappointments, and the every day character building we all go through.
As I gear up for 2011, I hope that things will be a little less uncertain than in 2010. I hope I can figure out where I'm supposed to be and what I'm supposed to be doing.
But regardless of what this new year brings, I'm sure it will be filled with fun times, friends, laughs, smiles and the opportunity to make the best of the rest.
